What is holding me back is 1. I am assuming(!) that potential partners will find it overkill, or will not take it serious enough, 2. I am afraid it will lead to more stress in my life (because now there will be even more focus on getting the ‘important’ done, instead if the equally important ‘fun’ things.

Thanks, I get that a lot. It's more fun than you think (maybe just experiment with it), and on 2: you're setting the agenda yourself. My partner and I have both been dealing with babies that are awake a lot – we use our sessions to check in on how to stay sane and how to relax, while still getting to what we find important. So it's definitely not all work.
